 This was a mamoth and joyous occassion since this is the first Prison in the country where every inmate has a bucket. This buckets are used for bathing,cleaning and carrying drinking water.We thank God that the inmates will no longer be using the cooking oil containers locally known as "Kasuku".The team was led by Pastor Benjaline Akeng'a the other members of the team were Pastor Julius Akeng'a,Sis. Rose Oyugi Mboya,Sis. Lara Rabala,Sis. Jerusa Gunyanyi and Ruth.The Presentation was also attended by the officer incharge of the Prison Madam Margaret Ngunjiri and the Provincial Chaplain Rev. Joyce Mutuku among others.The buckets are just a small contribution bearing in mind that the Prison has currently 700 inmates.We still require well wishers to support us one bucket cost Kshs.190/- or $2/- |
