"What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor." |

The Family Transformation Ministries for Kenya and East Africa, an affiliate of Family Transformation International, is a faith-based non-profit organization for the whole Family. It was established in Kenya in 2007, and registered under the Societies Act of the Laws of Kenya. The Ministry based in Nairobi, Kenya is headed by Pastor Julius and Benjaline Akeng’a. The ministry is under the overall leadership of its founders Drummond and Lindah Robinson. VisionTransforming Individuals and Families to reflect godly values. MissionTo empower every home in our region to reflect godly values through trainings and pastoral care. Specific Objectives
God has created the family to be an instrument for blessing where people should grow in an atmosphere of love, acceptance and forgiveness. The family is where one's identity and destiny are formed and where future well-being and success are established. However, families today, across the world, are being subjected to severe trauma and crisis. World instability, time pressures, marital stress, divorce, grief, parenting challenges from infancy to teens, abuse and abandonment are just some of the challenges we face. As a result, people find themselves struggling with loss of identity and purpose, depression, fears and insecurities.
FTM endeavours to protect the marriage covenant and the family by organizing training, seminars/workshops and retreats, conducting family and individual counseling sessions with an aim of healing, restoring, preparing and equipping families to become an environment of love, acceptance and forgiveness; where each person may experience hope and a sense of security and fulfillment in their principles and values as a person; and their purposes and destiny in life.
FTM's vision includes help to local churches; communities and organizations to establish Family Transformation Centers. Each Family Centre, while being a department of the local church will focus on family issues and minister to marriages and families within the local church and also reach out into the community to give hope and provide training and support to families.
