 Weddings

After serving as a pastor for families for several years, Pastor Akeng'a realised that a number of Christians who are ready to get married face various challenges which often lead them to elope or opt for a civil marriage. Some of these challenges include :

• Rejection by parents because of the tribe of the partner
• Lack of finances
• Fear of the logistics in preparing for a wedding
• Parents' high expectations
• Church  bureaucracy

To address these challenges Family Transformation Ministries has decided to simplify the process of preparing for a wedding. FTM can organise a simple church wedding, a private ceremony in our offices or a garden wedding for couples intending to get married (wedding planning). Couples go through a premarital counselling  session  (either on the internet or in our offices) and then FTM assists them to have their banns of marriage published and officiates at their wedding.
